The Notre Dame Girls Varsity Soccer season came to an end following a 3-2 loss to Fenton in the MHSAA District Championship round.
The Tigers took a 1-0 following a goal on a penalty kick, but the Irish responded with a goal of their own on a penalty kick by Stephanie Maniaci. Notre Dame scored once again with and Itala Gemelli goal with eight minutes remaining in the first half to take a 2-1 lead into the break. Fenton would score two quick goals to begin the second half and the Tigers would hold off the Irish attack for the remainder of the game to earn the win.
Notre Dame finishes the season at 16-4-1.
