The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Golf team took first at the East Lansing Invite played at Michigan State University's Forest Akers Golf Course, shooting a team score of 303 to edge NorthPointe Christian by two strokes.
Brockton English fired a 73 to place 5th individually while Brian Marx finished with a 74 to tie for 7th. Josh Montpas (77), Nick Batschynsky (79) and Jack Williams (85) rounded out the scoring effort for the Irish.
