The Notre Dame Girls Varsity Soccer team claimed its seventh consecutive MHSAA Distirct title with a 3-0 shutout win over Fenton High School.
Mariana McPartlin scored a first half goal for the Irish while Itala Gemelli and Lauren Lopez added goals in the second half. Sophie Thieme recorded the shutout in goal for Notre Dame, which did not allow a goal throughout district play.
The Irish, ranked 13th in Division II, will travel to the East Lansing Soccer Complex to play #4 Dewitt in MHSAA Regional play on Tuesday.
