Country Day, Cranbrook, ND Prep all advance to D3 state finals

BEVERLY HILLS — Pontiac Notre Dame Prep’s Julie Boniface and Hannah Preuss walked off the court after their last match Thursday feeling like heroes. Their win over top-seeded Cranbrook helped their team get to 18 points at the Division 3 regional at Detroit Country Day High School.

That was enough to help the Irish earn a trip to the state finals on May 29-30. Their win also helped the host Yellowjackets earn a share of the regional title along with Cranbrook. Both teams finished with 27 points. 

Country Day swept the singles competition. Cranbrook won 2-3-4 doubles titles. Below is a look at the results of the championship round.
