Boosting school athletes

Notre Dame’s Booster Club continues to contribute to Irish athletics in big ways. Each year, the Notre Dame athletics Booster Club helps the school’s many different sports teams in a number of important ways, not the least of which is raising money. Notre Dame cross country to compete in big regional Catholic championship

Important event brings together athletics and faith in a major gathering of Midwestern schools. Notre Dame’s girls and boys cross country teams travel this weekend to Dayton, Ohio, for the 23rd annual Midwest Catholic Cross Country Championships (MCC), which will bring together more than 80 teams from five Midwest states. Soccer Goes 3-0, Takes Annual Tournament

The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Soccer team took their annual tournament with Flushing, Frankenmuth, and Birmingham Groves over the weekend, going 3-0 on the day. The Irish started off the day with a 2-0 win over Flushing. Scoring for Notre Dame were Will Grubbs (on a penalty kick) and Tiernan O’Brien (assisted by Brian Blakeslee) while goalkeeper Andrew DeLave made 2 stops to earn the shutout.
