Girls Basketball Takes District Title

The Notre Dame Girls Varsity Basketball team defeated Lutheran North 48-33 at home to claim its first District championship since 2011. The Irish (10-11) came out strong, jumping out to a 9-4 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Mustangs battled back, however, and took a 17-15 edge into the break. Girls Take 2nd, Boys 3rd at Ski Finals

After each taking Regional titles both the Notre Dame Boys and Girls Varsity Ski teams traveled Shanty Creek Resorts Schuss Mountain for the MHSAA Division II State Finals on Monday. Cheer Takes Regional Title

The Notre Dame Competitive Cheer team earned its ninth consecutive state finals appearance, posting a score of 781.21 and winning another Regional title by placing ahead of the other state qualifiers Richmond, Monroe Jefferson and Flat Rock.   The Irish came out strong and held on to the 1st place spot from start to finish on Saturday at Flint Kearsley, scoring a 234.0 in the opening round with Monroe Jefferson behind in 2nd by 1 point.
