The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Golf team took first at the MHSAA Division II Regional Tournament held at Maple Lanes Golf Course in Sterling Heights. The Irish shot a team score of 302, topping second place Orchard Lake St. Marys (308) and third place Cranbrook (315).
Senior Jack Williams finished with a 73 to tie for first overall individually. Nick Batchynsky scored a 74 to place third individually and Brockton English posted a 76 to place fifth individually. Toby Roth and Josh Montpas both scored a 79 to place 14th and round out the scoring effort for Notre Dame.
The Irish now advance to the MHSAA final at Bedford Valley Golf Course next weekend.
