The Notre Dame Girls Varsity Bowling team captured the first MHSAA Regional title in program history. Following six baker games and three games the Irish posted a team score of 3146, besting second place Warren Fitzgerald by 54 points and third place South Lyon East by 84.
In the individual Regional, Theresa Carrier earned a third place finish and Sydney Newby placed fourth as both earned a spot in the individual State Finals tournament next weekend. Each of the Notre Dame bowlers placed in the top-24 with Deirdre Schiefer (13th), Marisol Rodriguez (19th) and Maria Agoytia (24th) rounding out the team effort.
The MHSAA Division II Bowling Finals will take place this upcoming Friday and Saturday at Century Bowl in Waterford.
