Notre Dame Varsity Baseball continued its unbeaten start to the season, sweeping a doubleheader over Berkley.
The Irish took game one by a score of 8-3, helped in large part by a pair of two-run doubles by Tommy Cavanaugh and Ryan Knutson in the fourth inning. Michael Porter, Jack Crowe and Brad Blakeslee all spent time on the mound for Notre Dame in the victory.
In the second game, the Irish pulled out a dramatic 4-3 victory. Knutson and Jack Krausmann each had two hits for Notre Dame, who had eight total in the game. Reliever Will Baldwin recorded the win, striking out four while yielding no runs.
