Today, at the Notre Dame campus, Trey Skalnek ’07 (NDP), of Skalnek Ford in Lake Orion, presented a check for more than $3,700 to athletic director Betty Wroubel. The funds were earned by the school’s athletic department as a result of hosting this year’s edition of Ford Motor Co.’s Drive One 4 UR School event. The event was sponsored by the NDPMA Athletic Advisory Council and organized by the Notre Dame Booster Club.
Skalnek Ford provided the 2015 Ford vehicles, which were test driven in the main Notre Dame parking lot by members of the school community, family and friends. Each test drive resulted in a $20 donation by Skalnek.
All proceeds from this year’s event and from the previous few years go toward creating and updating the athletic recognition walls throughout the school.
