The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Lacrosse traveled to Rochester Adams and lost in a shootout, 18-13.
After being down 10-6 at the half, the Irish made a huge comeback in the second half and cut the deficit to 15-13 with five minutes to go. However, Adams did a nice job of controlling the ball the rest of the way and limited the scoring opportunities for the Irish.
Defensemen Andrew Romzick and Andrew McGhee were solid on the back end with five and three ground balls respectively.
Attack Max Stowe found the back of the net five times and also added an assist. Also scoring for the Irish was Spencer Wittebort (two goals, two assists), Logan Currie (one goal, three assists), Matt Gaynor (two goals, one assist), Eric Gaynor (one goal, one assist), Will Caton (one goal) and Andrew Romzick (one goal). Goalie Antonio Popp did his part with 20 saves in net for Notre Dame.
