On the first official day that high school athletes can sign their national letter of intent, seven Notre Dame Prep senior student-athletes made it official and declared their intention to play at the university level.
“It’s an exciting day not only for these seven young men and women, but also for their family, friends, fellow students and teammates,” said Notre Dame Athletic Director Betty Wroubel.
Congratulations to the following:
Emma McLean – University of Michigan, gymnastics
11-year Junior Olympic Competitive Team.
She is the captain of the competitive team at her club gym.
2013 Regional All Around Champion for the states of Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan.
2014 All Around State Champion for Michigan.
Qualified for Nationals the last five years, took 15th at the Junior Olympic National Championships in 2013.
