2016 NOTRE DAME PREP AND MARIST ACADEMY FALL TRYOUT INFORMATION
The NDPMA Fall Athletic Parent Meeting is Wednesday, August 17th @ 7:00pm for ALL FALL SPORTS AND LEVELS
Wednesday, August 10th is the first official day of practice for all sports except Cheer and Dance, which began in the Summer, and Football, which begins on Monday, August 8th. All tryouts are at the Notre Dame Prep High School main campus unless otherwise noted. All athletes must be registered at NDPMA in order to participate. Non-Marist athletes seeking to fill openings for our Marist Academy programs should contact Aaron Crouse (acrouse@ndpma.org).
All athletes are required to have a physical dated on or after April 15, 2016 on file in the ATHLETIC OFFICE in order to tryout. Athletes must also be in accordance with the school hair and dress code to participate.

NDP Boys & Girls Cross Country
There are no cuts in this program. Practice begins on Wednesday August 10th from 3:45 pm to 5:45 pm at Orion Oaks Dog Park (please enter off of Joslyn Road). A pass must be purchased in order to park at Orion Oaks (season pass is $30 for residents and $48 for non-residents. Daily pass is $5 for residents and $12 for non-residents).

NDP Girls Golf
Tryouts will begin on Wednesday August 10th and run through Friday August 12th at Crystal Lake Golf Club from 7:15 am to 10:30 am. Please arrive no later than 7:00 am. Players will compete in a qualifying tournament. The results of the tournament will determine the player’s position on the team. The tryout fee is $35 per golfer (student accounts will be charged – athletes do not need to pay at tryouts). Student accounts will be billed for green fees throughout the season (estimated cost $200).

NDP Boys Tennis
Tryouts take place from Wednesday August 10th through Friday August 12th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and Monday August 15th through Tuesday August 16th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. All tryouts will take place at the Notre Dame Prep tennis courts.

NDP Volleyball
Tryouts will run from Wednesday August 10th through Friday August 12th. There will be two sessions each day. Wednesday and Thursday sessions will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and another from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The first Friday session will be from 8:00 to 11:00. The Freshman team selected will practice from 12:00 to 2:00 while JV and Varsity will practice from 1:00 to 3:00. Players should plan to attend both sessions. (Bring a lunch as you will not be able to leave campus). Team selections will take place after the Friday morning session. First individual team practices will begin Friday afternoon. There are scrimmages scheduled for all levels on Saturday August 13th.

Team tryouts and placement will run from Wednesday August 10th through Friday August 12th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Team placement will be on Friday August 12th. Meet at the Grimaldi Center.

NDP Girls Swimming & Diving
There are no cuts in this program. Practice begins Wednesday August 10th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Oakland University. Practices will move to Waterford Kettering starting Monday August 15th. Student accounts will be billed for pool rental time throughout the season (estimated cost $500).
