The Notre Dame Varsity Volleyball team extended its winning streak to 10 matches with a straight set victory over Our Lady of the Lakes in the front end of a double dual. Aly Borellis and Bianca Giglio led the offense with eight kills each while Olivia Kowalkowski kicked in nine digs for the Irish on the way to the 25-18, 25-15, 25-8 win.
In the second match the Irish fell to a strong team from Marian 25-21, 16-25, 22-25, 18-25 to see their win streak end and drop their record to 16-4. All four of the Notre Dame losses have come at the hands of division one state-ranked teams. Giglio had 15 kills and Borellis added 13 kills and three aces to lead the offensive attack and Kowalkowski collected 24 more digs in the match.
