Notre Dame Gets Win at Rochester

The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Lacrosse traveled to Rochester High School to take on the Falcons. After a bit of a slow start, the Irish let Rochester know they were in for a long night and came out with a win, 16-10.

Andrew McGhee starred on defense for Notre Dame grabbing eight ground balls and causing two turnovers. Defensemen Andrew Romzick (six ground balls), Andrew Vella (two), Charlie Morris (one) and Michael Robbins (one) all helped keep the Falcons away from the net.

Middie Will Caton dominated the middle of the field while also scoring twice and assisting on four goals. Max Stowe and Spencer Wittebort led the offensive explosion with Stowe netting five goals and four assists and Wittebort finding the net four times with five assists. Also scoring for the Irish were Matt Gaynor (three goals), Nick Pollack (one goal, one assists) and Joey Lopez, who found the net for his first goal of the season.
