Late Goal Lifts Brother Rice Orange Over Irish

The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Lacrosse lost a nail biter to Brother Rice (B) 10-9. Neither team led by more than two goals throughout and with the scored tied 9-9, the Warriors got loose for the game-winner with under three minutes to go.

Antonio Popp played outstanding in goal, stopping 11 shots.

Five different Irish players scored on the day led by Max Stowe with four goals and two assists, Spencer Wittebort (two goals, two assists) and Logan Currie (one goal, one assist). Nick Pollack and Will Caton each chipped in a goal while Andrew Romzick and Nick Wagner led the Irish defensive effort with multiple ground balls each.
