Irish Top FGR to Move to 2-0

The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Lacrosse team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 14-6 win over rival Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard.

Austin Grief set the tone early by dominating the faceoff circle, helping the Irish get off to a quick 6-0 start.

Six Different Notre Dame players found the back of net, led by Max Stowe (five goals, five 5 assists), Will Caton (three goals), Spencer Wittebort (two goals, one assist), Nick Pollack (two goals, one assist), Logan Currie (one goal, one assist) and Matt Gaynor (one goal).

The Irish defense was stout all day with Andrew Romzick (10 ground balls), Charlie Morris (three) and Michael Robbins (two) leading the way. Goalie Antonio Popp continued his early season impressive play by stopping six shots in the victory.
