Irish Take First at Oakland County Invite

The Notre Dame Varsity Competitive Cheer team came out on top on at the Oakland County Championship Invitational held at Stoney Creek, competing against schools in the Division Two bracket.

The Notre Dame cheerleaders started off strong with a score of 230.5 in round one and kept soaring with scores of 222.82 and 308.7 in rounds two and three. Their final grand total score was an impressive 762.02 making them runaway winners of the first place trophy.

The Irish will on their journey to defend their five state championships when they compete at Allen Park on January 5.
