Irish Riders Take First Two District Meets

Notre Dame Prep Equestrian won its first district meet at Armada Fairgrounds with a total of 244 points for the day. Armada placed second with 170 points and Bloomfield was third with 135 points.

All riders had huge accomplishments throughout the day, including sophomores Cara DeFelice and Kendall Lance taking top three placings in all of their events.

The Irish also took the second district meet on Sunday with 235 points. Armada was once again second with 174 points with Bloomfield third at 98 points. The Irish now have a strong overall lead going into the final district meet with 479 cumulative points.

Every rider on the team– including DeFelice, Lance, Maegan Fitzgerald, Olivia Urban, Colette Bockrath, and Grace Parker– had multiple top three placings and there were many events where Notre Dame swept all of the top placings.
